Boku: One of the Most Popular Shonen Manga of all Time

My Hero Academia (Japanese: 僕のヒーローアカデミア, Hepburn: Boku no Hīrō Akademia) is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It’s been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its own chapters additionally collected in 24 tankōbon volumes as of August 2019. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born with no superpowers (known as Quirks) in a world where they have become commonplace, but that dreams of becoming a hero himself. He is scouted by Each Of Might, Japan’s biggest hero, that shares his quirk with Izuku after realizing his possible, and afterwards helps to enroll him at a prestigious high school for heroes in coaching.

The manga was adapted into an anime television show by Bones. Its first season aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016, followed by a second year from April 1 to September 30, 2017, then a third season from April 7 to September 29, 2018, and a fourth season by October 12, 2019. An animated movie titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was released on August 3, 2018. Another animated movie titled My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising will be published on December 20, 2019. There are plans to get a live-action film by Legendary Entertainment.

The show has been licensed to get an abysmal launch by Viz Media and began serialization within their weekly digital manga anthology Weekly Shonen Jumpon February 9, 2015. Shueisha Started to simulpublish the show in English on the website and program Manga Plus in January 2019. The manga won the 2019 Harvey Award for Best Manga.

After being the only one to attempt to save his childhood bully Katsuki Bakugo from a villain, All Might, Japan’s best Hero, saves him and bestows upon him All Might’s own Quirk”One for All”. The story follows Izuku’s entrance into U.A. High School (雄英高校, Yūei Kōkō), a school for training another generation of superheroes. Izuku and his new friends attempt to balance their Hero training with regular school assignments. However, the League of Villains, an evil organization established by All Might’s archenemy All For starters, has plans to destroy all Heroes and take control of society

A spin-off Collection entitled My Hero Academia Smash!! By Hirofumi Neda began at the Jump+ Digital program on November 9, 2015, and finished on November 6, 2017. Five Tankōbon volumes were released as of November 2017. [18] The series has Another spin-off series, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, started being released by Weekly Shōnen Bound in 2017. The Series is accredited for its English-language release in North America by Viz Media. The first volume was released in English on July 3, 2018. A Akiyama, began serialization in Saikyō Jump on August 2, 2019, using a Prologue chapter debuting at Shōnen Jump GIGA on July 25, 2019
